Troubleshoot Your SoLoLink Page

Category: Troubleshooting

Summary: Resolve common page-creation, destination, social-profile, QR, and plan-access problems without losing your work.

My preferred public URL is unavailable

Public page names must be unique. If SoLoLink reports that a username is already taken, choose another name and wait for the available confirmation before selecting Create Link Page.

A button does not open the expected destination

Open the block in the editor and verify its destination:

  • Use the complete web address, including https://, for web destinations.
  • For Event blocks, verify the Registration URL.
  • For Offer and Action blocks, verify the Destination URL.
  • For newsletter, booking, donation, menu, and contact actions, verify the external provider page is public and still available.

These actions open the external service you configure. SoLoLink does not receive or store submissions or payments completed on that service.

A social profile is missing from the public page

Open the social profile in the editor and confirm that it is not hidden. Then verify the profile destination and the selected icon or button layout. Threads and Bluesky are supported destinations.

I cannot find a block

In the page editor, choose Browse all blocks. Action, Event, Offer, Contact, Podcast, Newsletter, Accordion, and social blocks are available on Free. Tip Jar and Product blocks require Pro.

QR colors are unavailable

Free includes a fixed high-contrast QR code with PNG and SVG download on the web. Starter and higher plans add approved colors and an optional logo. If a custom color is rejected, choose colors with stronger contrast so the QR code remains scannable.

A scheduled or video option is locked

Scheduled visibility, video previews, and advanced analytics require Pro. A locked control should show the plan required to use it.

Google sign-in did not finish

Return to the SoLoLink login page and choose Try Google again. Complete Google authentication in the visible Google window. After Google confirms the account, SoLoLink returns you to the destination shown on the login screen.

If the problem continues, use the canonical Help Center at https://help.sololink.link.
